Why tao fu fa called "tao fu fa"?

One day my niece ask me why "tao fu fa" (豆腐花) called "tao fu fa"? And I like huh???? I never think of this question lor... haha.. Tao fu fa is one kind of chinese dessert made by soft tofu, and it also call tofu pudding or dou hua (豆花) or dou nao (豆脑) because its texture looks like brain. yeeee....... lol

I love tao fu fa. So much. Cause its sweet and soft. And it made by "tofu" which full of nutritions and good for our skin =P I know there is a delicious tao fu fa in KL. At kota raya, there is one stall opposite with popular selling tao fu fa and soya bean milk. Its really nice and tasty!! =) Hmmm gonna go there eat next time:-) hehe
I google up "tao fu fa" and found that there are many ways of eating this tao fu fa regarding to different country. The most common way is mix with normal sugar syrup or sugarcane syrup. In Taiwan, tao fu fa is served with sweet topping like cooked peanut, cooked oatmeal or syrup flavored with ginger or almond. In Thailand, it usually served cold with milk and fruit salad. (dont know how's the taste)
I try to search why it call tao fu fa on google but no result..... Ermmm why leh???? Anyone know?
