Is friendship lasting?

How long can friendship last? Its all depend on your heart. Are you willing to keep connect with friends? If yes then i believe friendship can last long. People say human got different type of friends in different stage of life. They are just passing traveler in life. What do you think? I believe as long as we put in effort to 'hold' our friendship, it can be persist.
